Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Procurement/Planning professional to manage material planning and purchasing for our production lines in North Carolina. You will coordinate supplier activities, maintain ERP purchase orders and support engineering changes while minimizing costs and scrap.

Strong Excel and blueprint-reading skills are essential for accurate planning and reporting. The role requires a bachelor's degree preference, on-site work, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet

Qualifications

• Experience with Material Planning and Purchasing in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel skills with data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing blueprints.
• Strong mathematical ability and written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan all purchased parts to support production based on inventory, demand and capacity.
• Place and manage purchase orders for raw materials; coordinate with suppliers.
• Plan service parts requirements to meet external customer demand.
• Resolve issues with Accounts Payable on PO/invoicing and pricing.
• Maintain PO information in ERP; adjust due dates, quantities, and close orders as needed.
• Coordinate ECN changes and minimize scrap during incorporation.
• Represent Planning at meetings and prepare monthly management reports.
