Ingersoll Rand in West Chester, PA is seeking a Material Manager to lead material planning, inventory control, warehousing, and inbound/outbound logistics to keep production uninterrupted and cost-efficient.

You will optimize material flow, collaborate with Procurement and suppliers, manage the materials team, and drive Lean, Kaizen, and Kanban initiatives while measuring KPIs such as inventory accuracy, turns, and supplier OTD.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
5+ years in materials management or supply chain in manufacturing.
3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.

Mansioni

Develop and optimize material planning strategies aligned with production schedules and demand.
Monitor inventory accuracy, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies to minimize shortages.
Collaborate with Procurement and suppliers to improve on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
Oversee warehouse and logistics operations including receiving, storage, and shipping accuracy.
Ensure compliance with warehouse safety standards, DOT requirements, and 5S principles.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Procurement on material readiness.
Lead daily tier meetings and drive Lean, Kaizen, Kanban, and VMI initiatives.
Develop and coach the materials team and track KPIs like inventory turns and OTD.
