Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Mocksville, NC is seeking a hands-on Materials Planning Manager to lead a diverse operation spanning pack and rotary assembly, remanufacturing, and machine shop activities. You’ll drive supply continuity, inventory health, and on-time product launches with a strong focus on KPI delivery and cost control.

Qualifications

5+ years of prior people management experience.
5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
4+ years of experience in materials planning, purchasing, buyer/planner functions, or related.
3+ years of demonstrated Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Lead site material planning activities to ensure timely availability of materials for production operations.
Own stocking and replenishment strategy for all site raw materials.
Lead site inventory optimization balancing material availability and inventory investment.
Serve as escalation point when material planners cannot resolve supply, delivery, inventory, or supplier issues.
Coach and develop Materials Planning team, ensure ERP/MRP tools and standard work are used effectively.
