Job summary

You will lead a team, develop SOPs, implement ERP/WMS systems, and collaborate with procurement, production, and quality to ensure on-time material delivery and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in material management/inventory control/supply chain in aerospace/defense manufacturing.
• 2+ years managing a lead of supervisors, associates or technicians.
• Onsite, local to Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Develop material management strategies and procedures to comply with regulations.
• Hire and train talent to manage material flow.
• Improve efficiency by eliminating waste and implementing lean practices.
• Implement systems aligning with government property and inventory management policies.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and prevent stockouts via FIFO, audits, and cycle counts.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, logistics, and quality to forecast demand.
• Align material availability with production schedules to meet customer demand.
• Use ERP and WMS to track inventory and generate data-driven reports.
• Ensure safety, regulatory, and quality compliance in all activities.
• Lead and develop a high-performing warehouse team.
