Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations to lead a production team in Irvine, CA. You will drive daily operations, prioritize work orders, and maintain safety and quality on the production floor.

You will be responsible for coaching up to 30 technicians, coordinating with engineering, supply chain, and quality, and ensuring on-time delivery while upholding standard work and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a high-volume production management/supervisory role.
• Hands-on production floor experience and leadership of a technical team.
• Strong understanding of LEAN, 5S, ECO/change management.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and work instructions.
• Willingness to work on hardware on the production floor.
• Proven ability to train and develop both new hires and veteran staff.
• Experience supporting equipment maintenance.
• U.S. Person due to export-controlled information access.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage up to 30 production associates per shift.
• Set daily priorities and issues work orders to the floor; remove blockers.
• Enforce safety procedures and standard work; drive safety improvements.
• Schedule and prioritize work to meet on-time delivery targets.
• Lead 5S and continuous improvement initiatives in the facility.
• Maintain transactions in NetSuite/JIRA; ensure accurate inventory levels.
• Provide weekly progress, blockers, risks, and needs reports.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, logistics, and quality teams.
• On-board and train new operators; support cross-functional activities.
• Maintain standardized manufacturing instructions and control plans.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Ensure quality standards across the entire production process.
