Position Overview

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure effective planning, sourcing, and flow of materials to support production. Manage inventory, coordinate with suppliers, control costs, and ensure timely delivery to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently to meet business forecasts.

Your Role And Responsibilities
  1. Establish and manage inventory levels, provide build-to-forecast plans, and handle obsolete materials.
  2. Determine product needs, schedule production, and release products onto the shop floor, including capacity calculations.
  3. Develop systems to improve warehouse operations, manage logistics, and minimize shipping costs.
  4. Ensure integrity of SAP Master Data (Material Master, Work Centers, BOMs/Routers, MRP, Purchasing, Transactions).
  5. Handle all personnel-related issues, including hiring, discipline, performance reviews, and terminations.
  6. Facilitate effective communication among employees, customers, vendors, and management.
  7. Monitor production order cycle times to meet turnover goals.
  8. Execute material requisitions to support demands, reorder points, safety stock, and manually derived requirements.
  9. Ensure adherence to Code of Conduct guidelines and educate employees on these guidelines.
  10. Manage all aspects of scheduling production through the plant, including SIOP analysis.
Minimum Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ experience in Materials Management or 10 years related work experience.
  2. Demonstrated leadership aptitude.
  3. Expertise in planning, purchasing, logistics, and supplier management principles and best practices.
  4. Skilled negotiator and innovative problem solver, proficient at reducing costs and fulfilling cycle times.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting and facilitating team meetings.
  6. Team player with high levels of professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm.
  7. Ability to work cross-functionally and geographically at all organizational levels.
  8. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, adherence to attendance policy, and sound judgment.
  9. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  10. Proficiency in SAP; experience with SAP is highly desirable.
