Job summary

Cirrus Aircraft in Duluth, MN seeks a Manager of Materials Management to lead interfacility logistics, materials management, and ERP-improvement initiatives, ensuring parts are in the right place at the right time while optimizing capital investment and material overhead.

You will drive Kanban implementation, supplier collaboration, and KPI reporting, overseeing cycle count, inventory accuracy, and budget performance within a lean manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Business or Supply Chain required.
• 8+ years of leadership experience in operations and inventory management.
• Experience with MRP and lean manufacturing processes.
• APICS CPIM certification required or plan to obtain within 18 months of employment.
• Experience with Kanban inventory management preferred.
• Strong data analysis and MS Excel/PowerBI skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads interfacility logistics and materials management teams.
• Owns cycle count program and inventory accuracy across locations.
• Identify and resolve material constraints including space, equipment, and labor.
• Manage departmental budget and drive cost optimization.
• Lead Kanban material pull implementation with internal and external suppliers.
• Develop and report KPIs: material delivery, supplier conformance, inventory turns.
• Improve material receiving operations with ASN, 3-way match, and one-piece flow.
• Support strategic initiatives and succession planning.
