Cirrus Aircraft Ltd. is seeking a Manager of Materials Management to lead interfacility logistics, COS Fundamentals implementation, and inventory analytics.

You will guide the ERP-driven transformation, automate supply chain transactions, and optimize material flow to support manufacturing with right parts at the right time. The role emphasizes Kanban adoption, process improvements, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency across Cirrus

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Business or Supply Chain required.
• Experience with MRP and lean manufacturing processes required.
• APICS CPIM certification required or commitment to obtain within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Leads Cirrus Corporate Cycle Count Program and ensures accuracy and audit-ability of production inventory.
• Manages aging exception transactions including receiving inspection, negative inventory, and non-nettable inventory.
• Identifies and resolves material constraints including space, equipment, and labor.
• Responsible for departmental budget performance.
• Drives continuous process improvement and Kanban implementation across internal and external supply chains.
• Leads Kanban material pull throughout internal supply chain and promotes Kanban with suppliers.
• Performs data analysis and reports on KPIs such as material delivery, supplier conformance, dwell time, and inventory turns.
• Develops efficient material handling processes including ASNs, 3-way match, and one-piece flow.
• Supports strategic initiatives, succession planning, and area budget planning.
• Documents business processes for the area.

Overview

The Manager of Materials Management will lead the interfacility logistics and materials, COS Fundamentals implementation, and inventory analytics teams and implement key business processes and systems functionality improvements. Working closely with cross functional leaders and peers in operations & supply chain to create and execute processes that ensure manufacturing operations has the right part, at the right place, and at the right time all while optimizing capital investment and material overhead. The Manager of Materials Management will also lead transformational change to our supply chain process, focused on leveraging the full capability of our ERP system, automating supply chain transactions and implementing Kanban material pull all while optimizing the space footprint of materials.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Cirrus Corporate Cycle Count Program. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all Cirrus accounting policies related to accuracy and audit-ability of all production inventory.
• Responsible for metrics and actions regarding aging exception transactions including receiving inspection (RII), negative inventory, and non-nettable inventory.
• Identification and resolution of material constraints including space, equipment, and labor.
• Responsible for departmental budget performance.
• Drives continuous process improvement, strives to improve efficiency, likely to challenge processes where favorable alternatives may be available.
• Lead the implementation of kanban material pull throughout the internal supply chain and promote kanban processes with external suppliers.
• Drives data analysis and reporting of key performance indicators such as: material delivery performance, supplier conformance, material dwell time and inventory turns.
• Develop efficient material handling processes to improve material receiving operations including the use of Advance Ship Notices (ASNs), 3-way match, and one-piece flow.
• Support strategic initiatives.
• Assist with succession planning.
• Assist with budget planning for area.
• Assists in development and documentations of business processes for area.

Qualifications

Required:

• BS/BA degree in Business or Supply Chain required.
• Experience in operations, leadership, inventory management, MRP and lean manufacturing processes required.
• Experience with visual management systems and one-piece flow processes required.
• Expert level understanding of MRP and the related systems to administer required.
• Minimum of 8 years of leadership experience and relevant experience required.

Preferred:

• Masters degree preferred.

• APICS Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) required or hiring commitment to obtain in first 18 months of employment.
• Experience in establishing Kanban inventory management processes preferred.
• Strong presentation skills and business acumen. Ability to concisely communicate at all levels within the organization and externally preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, proven leadership ability, and the ability to manage the requirements of others preferred.
• Preferred data access/retrieval skills with extensive experience in data analysis, data manipulation using MS Excel, MS PowerBI, MS Access and/or other tools as provided.

Pay Range

Salary Range: USD $101,880.22/Yr. - USD $152,820.33/Yr.
