Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking a Senior Manager of Materials for the 3rd shift in Decatur, AL. This role leads the hourly Materials team, ensures reliable material flow, and partners with Manufacturing, Quality and Maintenance to improve safety, quality and cost performance.

The Senior Materials Manager will drive Lean improvements, oversee scheduling and inventory using Oracle EBS, and develop frontline leaders while maintaining a strong safety culture and engaging employees across

Qualifications

5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing or supply chain
Strong knowledge across materials, warehousing, and scheduling
Experience with Oracle EBS and Lean manufacturing methodologies

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the hourly Materials team to ensure reliable material flow
Oversee third-shift operations and address shortages, scheduling, and inventory issues
Drive cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance and others
Champion Lean continuous improvement and standard work across the plant
Oversee material availability, scheduling, and inventory using Oracle EBS
Develop frontline leadership and accountability across the team
Uphold safety culture and reduce incidents while improving engagement
