Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred but not required.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in materials management, logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing operations.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or materials environment.
• Working knowledge of materials management, inventory control, warehousing, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience leading teams, managing operational priorities, and driving performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee third-shift materials operations to ensure timely material delivery for production.
• Manage material flow, storage, replenishment, and movement throughout the facility.
• Ensure materials are available at point of use to minimize production interruptions.
• Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, and Logistics to resolve shortages and delays.
• Monitor handling processes and implement efficiency improvements.
• Maintain shift-to-shift communication on materials, priorities, and issues.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through tracking and controls; oversee cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with materials management processes and inventory standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve storage, handling, and inventory practices.
• Lead and develop materials supervisors, team leaders, and hourly staff.
• Set performance expectations; uphold safety, quality, productivity, and results.
• Manage staffing and assignments to meet third-shift needs; provide coaching and feedback.
• Foster a positive, engaged, accountable, and continuously improving work culture.
• Ensure consistent application of company policies and performance management.
