Job summary

Resurgent Industries is seeking a Materials Lead to oversee the movement, storage, and shipment of raw materials and finished goods in a textile mill. You will build a high-performance team, maintain inventory integrity, and ensure timely production and customer delivery through disciplined inventory control and logistics coordination.

The role emphasizes material flow, accurate receiving, finished goods management, and adherence to safety and 5S standards in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or relevant technical training preferred.
• 1-4 years of experience in warehouse, inventory control, materials handling, or logistics (textile/manufacturing preferred).
• Entry-level candidates with strong organizational skills and willingness to learn will be considered.
• Solid understanding of inventory control principles and material flow in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack) with certification or ability to obtain.
• Comfortable using ERP/inventory software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute internal movement of raw materials and inventory between receiving, storage, production, and shipping.
• Verify quantities, quality, and documentation to support production schedules.
• Maintain material identification, labeling, and traceability throughout the mill.
• Manage finished yarn and fabric inventory, cycle counting, and FIFO as applicable.
• Prepare finished goods for shipment and coordinate loading and dispatch of outbound shipments.
• Maintain ERP/inventory system records and ensure safety and 5S standards.
