Job summary

InterMetro Industries Corporation seeks a Materials & Inventory Supervisor for the Wilkes-Barre Manufacturing Plant to lead the Materials & Inventory Department and ensure accurate, cost-effective handling of all inventory items.

You will oversee purchasing, warehousing, and cycle counts, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with IT on inventory system enhancements to support on-time delivery and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 10 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience with materials management, purchasing, and inventory control.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appropriate quantities of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to ensure on-time delivery.
• Direct activities for ordering, movement, storage, and processing of inventory.
• Monitor forecasts and production capacity to ensure material availability.
• Define KPI’s for material and inventory metrics and drive action plans.
• Lead cycle count program and annual physical inventory efforts.
• Collaborate with IT to improve inventory systems and reporting.
• Manage departmental budget and supervise staff, including training and performance reviews.
