Job summary

Terex Corporation in Waukesha, WI is seeking a Materials Manager with manufacturing experience to oversee inbound/outbound materials, auditing bills of lading, and inventory control. You will coordinate with Quality and shipping resources to ensure safe stocks and accurate cycle counts.

You will lead a team, conduct annual physical inventory, document receivables from multiple sources, and drive improvements in procedures to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Oracle ERP experience preferred; inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Strong skills in Excel, data mining, and tracking KPIs.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Microsoft Office skills required; MS Visio and MS Professional preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED with post-secondary education in manufacturing management-supply chain strongly encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to direct reports responsible for inbound and outbound equipment/components/material.
• Lead inventory control management processes and directs activities of inventory control employees.
• Lead annual physical inventory.
• Interpret and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Manage inventory control, cycle counting, and related audits.
• Document all receivables from multiple sources (FedEx, UPS, USPS, Pine Drivers, Customer Drop Off and others).
• Assist the Quality Department with inspections of arrivals.
• Generate receipt of goods reports with three check-offs prior to submission to accounting.
• Communicate discrepancies to operations management and scheduling.
• Maintain a clean and efficient work area at all times.
• Review, generate and implement processes to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Measure work performance; compare to objectives; take corrective actions.
