Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Materials Supervisor in Hubbard, Texas, to oversee material and inventory management for projects. You will coordinate the materials handlers, ensure accurate records, and optimize warehouse operations to support project execution.

The role requires 3–5 years in materials management, strong supervisory skills, and proficiency with inventory software and MS Office. The position emphasizes safety, efficiency, and timely material delivery across sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in materials management, inventory control, or warehousing, preferably in energy, construction, or heavy industrial sectors.
• Proven supervisory experience with ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including receiving, storage, issuing, and tracking.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervise materials handlers and ensure adherence to safety policies.
• Manage receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and tracking materials and equipment.
• Implement and maintain an organized warehouse or laydown yard for space optimization.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Collaborate with project management, procurement, and field teams to forecast material needs and ensure timely delivery.
• Identify and implement strategies for materials optimization, waste reduction, and cost control.
• Prepare and submit materials reports, including inventory levels and usage.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment as required.
• Assist in developing and implementing materials management procedures and best practices.
