Job summary

Hanesbrands in Kings Mountain, NC is seeking a warehouse associate to perform palletizing, material handling, and basic packing tasks. You will operate pallet jacks, break down boxes, and prepare pallets for shipping, while maintaining clean and safe work areas.

Ideal candidates can read and understand safety instructions, learn to use required equipment, stand and walk for extended periods, and complete new-hire safety orientations.

Responsibilities

• Obtain pallet jack and wooden pallet.
• Monitor the special order handling belt for cartons.
• Remove cartons from the belt and place on wooden pallets by customer.
• Cut tape and breakdown boxes as needed; Stack on pallet; wear approved cutting gloves.
• Secure full pallets with plastic wrap.
• Move secured pallet to designated staging area and obtain another empty pallet.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in work area during and at the end of shift.
• Perform any additional duties as specified by supervisor.
