Job summary

Bobcat Company is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift in Minnesota. Tasks include moving materials by hand or with a pallet jack, and operating lifting devices as outlined in standard work. You will load and unload parts, assist in paint line operations, and keep equipment in safe operating condition.

Expected to meet timing requirements, maintain accuracy using scanners, and participate in safety procedures. 0–2 years experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.

• Experience: 0-2 years.
• Ability to follow established methods and procedures under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Unloads and stacks material using hoist-attached lifting devices and hand methods.
• Loads/unloads materials onto pallets or racks manually as required.
• Handles parts from racks, tubs or bins to trays or carts in the warehouse.
• Follows set routes to load kit carts and assist in paint line tasks.
• Maintains safety checks on equipment and performs duties safely.
• Uses electronic scanner to transact material as needed.

2nd Shift: 4:30pm-3:00am (Mon-Thur) Potential for mandatory OT on Fridays

Pay Scale: $20.50-$29.57 DOE

Role & Responsibility

Essential Functions

• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device attached to hoist.
• Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids or lifting device by hand as needed.
• Loads parts manually from racks, tubs, and/or bins in warehouse to trays or racks kit carts.
• Follows set route through department to load kit carts.
• Loads and unloads parts manually from paint line.
• Maintains safety checks on necessary equipment.
• Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Uses electronic scanner to transact material as needed.

Other Duties

• Keeps aisles clean and orderly.
• Assists in the instruction and training of others as requested by supervisor.
• Completes preventative maintenance and other duties as directed by Total Production Maintenance.
• Perform other non-essential duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirement

• Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time.

• Experience: 0>2 years
• The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of high school or equivalent is required.
