Job summary

Maple Donuts, LLC in York, PA is seeking a Warehouse/Material Handler to move skids, stage ingredients, and keep pallets in order for production lines.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 0–3 months related experience, and must pass a forklift test. A valid driver's license and DOT Medical Card are required, and operating a box truck will be common.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Must pass an initial forklift test and will be observed at least every three years to maintain license.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, obtain and maintain a current DOT Medical Card, and be comfortable operating a box truck.

Responsibilities

• Move skids of finished product away from stacking position to the freezer put away station.
• Keep accurate production and material handler records and verify pallet labeling.
• Ensure stackers have a consistent supply of good pallets.
• Ensure next shift is set up with pallets, ingredients, and packaging materials.
• Gather and stage ingredients for easy access during the shift.
• Communicate tasks away from the packing area.
• Match case counts with stacker reports and verify accuracy.
• Ensure ON HOLD product is properly tagged and stored.
• Return ingredients and materials to proper storage.
• Complete beginning-of-shift assessments.
• Charge powered pallet jacks when not in use.
• Properly identify torn ingredient bags.
• Comply with all safety rules and notify supervision of concerns.
• Follow all CGMPs.
• Clean assigned areas and pallet jacks.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor/manager.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. WORK ENVIRONMENT

Employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level is usually moderate to loud and hearing protection is mandatory. Employee may be exposed to temperatures down to -20°F.
