Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a dependable warehouse associate in Covington, GA to wrap kitted pallets, move them to staging or release areas, and operate a manual pallet jack.

You will keep the kitting area clean, remove cardboard and trash, coordinate with forklift drivers, pull pallets to lines, and participate in training sessions as directed.

High school education or equivalent and 1+ year warehouse experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• One or more years of warehouse and manufacturing experience preferred.

Job description

Summary:

This position is responsible for the wrapping kitted pallets and moving them to the bottom rack location for pending release pallets and or moving released pallets to the GDC receiving aisle. Daily cleaning of the kitting area including removal of cardboard and trash. Retrieve kitting labels from the GDC front office daily at 11:00. When all areas are caught up the expectation is to work on a kitting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Education And/or Experience:

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years of warehouse and manufacturing experience preferred.

• Ability to be a self-starter with the initiative to perform job responsibilities without direct supervision.
• Accuracy, completeness and attention to detail are essential.

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
• The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.
• The employee is often required to stand and reach with hands and arms and lifts and/or moves up to 20 pounds.
• Employee is required to meet with other personnel in other areas of the building.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
• Employee is required to operate all types of material handling equipment as needed. This position will use a manual pallet jack.

Work Environment:

• A person in this job will occasionally be exposed to moderate to occasionally loud noise and will work near moving mechanical parts.
• This is a manufacturing warehouse environment.
