Job summary

BorgWarner in Bellwood, AL is seeking a Material Handler to ensure smooth flow of materials and support replenishment signals across the plant. You will work with routing tickets, Kanban systems, inventory slips, and SAP-based processes to maintain accurate stock and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include operating forklift equipment, performing safety checks, scanning components, counting weights, and communicating issues across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to Read and Write English.
• Must possess and retain forklift license for various equipment and lift 50 pounds.
• Proficient with SAP, scanners, and Kanban systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper flow of material and replenishment signals at the Bellwood plant.
• Operate stand-up/other forklifts and use a handheld scanner.
• Follow routing tickets, inventory slips, schedules, and Kanban systems to move materials.
• Complete forklift safety checklist at shift start and ensure safe weight distribution.
