Job summary

BorgWarner in Seneca, SC is seeking a Materials Associate to perform receiving, shipping, and storage to support production. You will move materials safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment while reporting transactions in SAP.

Responsibilities include verifying deliveries against pack lists, picking for shipment, conducting cycle counting, maintaining 5S standards, and adhering to safety policies. RF scanning and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; basic skills assessment may be used.
• 6 months experience in a fast-paced industrial environment preferred.
• 1 year material handling in distribution preferred; RF scanning experience a plus.
• Forklift certification or experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, write and differentiate numbers.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials into the system and verify against Pack Lists.
• Pick parts for shipment and package according to procedures.
• Move materials with forklifts, pallet jacks, and order-pickers.
• Issue materials to departments and report inventory quantities.
• Enter materials transactions into SAP and other systems.
• Support cycle counting and 5S/housekeeping activities.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
