Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking a Materials Handler at the Bellwood, IL facility to ensure smooth flow of materials and inventory accuracy. You will operate forklifts and scanners, follow kanban and SAP-based processes, and work under the Materials Leadership team to support production schedules.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and fluency in reading and writing English.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• License to operate standard forklift, walkie, stand-up forklift, and tugger.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work safely.
• Read and write English and use SAP inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Move materials to Kanban areas and central warehouses.
• Operate forklifts and inventory scanners per safety rules.
• Support inventory cycle counts and SAP audits.
• Communicate issues and status across shifts with leaders.
• Keep work areas clean and equipment well maintained.
• Follow all safety and material planning rules.
