Job summary

BorgWarner in Bent Creek, NC is seeking a warehouse specialist to unload/load trucks, verify quantities, and manage staging and labeling. You will scan parts for receipt and delivery, stage materials for put away, and move items to production areas.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Licensed to operate forklift.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment required.
• Minimum of two years of related experience supporting manufacturing operations.
• Must be computer literate and able to perform basic MS Windows / SAP tasks.
• Attendance on the job is essential.
• Team-oriented and able to follow instructions, safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Unload/Load trucks and verify quantities loaded/unloaded.
• Ensure paperwork and labeling accuracy.
• Scan parts for receipt/delivery as required.
• Stage material for put away/pickup and deliver to production areas.
• Provide support to decant areas and move materials using power equipment.
• Use SAP to put away parts and pick from warehouse locations.
• Notify supervisor of inventory shortages or discrepancies.
• Adhere to health, safety, environmental policies and procedures.
