Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking a Materials Associate in Seneca, SC to perform receiving, shipping, and storage in support of production. You will move materials safely with forklifts and pallet jacks, report transactions, and verify quantities in SAP.

The role requires High School diploma or GED, 6 months in a fast-paced industrial setting, and experience with RF scanning and warehouse systems. You will follow safety policies, participate in cycle counting, and uphold FIFO practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED, or basic skills assessment required.
• 6 months experience in fast paced industrial lean environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude preferred.
• RF scanning experience.
• Ability to read, write and differentiate numbers.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials; receive materials into the Company system and verify against Pack Lists.
• Pick parts for shipment and packaging according to shipping procedures.
• Use pallet jacks, forklifts, order-pickers, and dollies to move materials.
• Issue materials to departments and deliver parts to work areas.
• Enter materials transactional information into SAP and other systems.
