Job summary

BorgWarner is hiring a Materials Associate to perform receiving, shipping, and storage duties in support of production. The role requires operating material handling equipment, accurate data entry in SAP, and adherence to safety policies. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a fast-paced industrial lean environment.
• 1 year material handling experience in a distribution environment preferred.
• Prior RF scanning experience.
• 1 year experience as certified forklift operator in a distribution environment preferred.
• Ability to read, write and differentiate numbers.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials; receive materials into the company system and verify against pack lists.
• Pick parts for shipment and package according to shipping procedures.
• Use material moving equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, order-pickers) to move products.
• Issue materials to departments and deliver parts to work areas as requested.
• Monitor inventory and report discrepancies; assist with cycle counting.
