Job summary

Polaris Inc. Huntsville location seeks an experienced supervisor to drive productivity and quality on daily production lines, emphasizing problem solving, mentoring, and adherence to standard work. The role focuses on Lean principles and continuous improvement, empowering operators to perform at a higher level.

You will coordinate with team leads, manage overtime when needed, and support safety, quality, and cost goals while upholding Polaris values and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or backshop environments.
• Ability to use timekeeping systems (AS400, Kronos), RF/barcode tech, and MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem-solving ability to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Productivity, Quality, and Continuous Improvement.
• Identify and remove obstacles that interfere with Operator’s standard work.
• Support daily production by quickly containing and escalating problems that disrupt the line.
• Drive continuous improvement.
• Audit and give feedback on Operator standard work compliance.
• Maintain the Tier-1 Continuous Improvement Board to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvement goals.
• Direct and execute daily work assignments as mandated by department needs and schedules.
