Job summary

Polaris Inc. is seeking a manufacturing associate to support daily production and continuous improvement initiatives in our Huntsville, TN facility.

You will work with cross-functional teams to identify obstacles, implement lean tools, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to train operators on standard work and problem resolution.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Experience with timekeeping systems like AS400 and Kronos.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Lean and continuous improvement exposure.

Responsibilities

• Identify and remove obstacles interfering with Operator’s standard work.
• Support daily production by containing and escalating problems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document problems for root cause analysis and countermeasures.
• Coach operators in lean principles and Polaris Production System.
• Maintain visual management and 5S in the area.
