Job summary

Generac Power Systems is seeking a Manager, Materials to lead material flow from receiving through line-side presentation for production, including end-of-line pick, pack and ship. The role emphasizes safety, lean improvements, and efficient use of labor.

You will oversee inventory control, multi-shift warehousing, and collaboration with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and continuous improvement, including SAP-based processes and PFEP planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or equivalent.
• 5 years of progressive Operations management experience in similar work environment.
• Transformational leadership using lean principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee material flow from receiving/inspection to line-side presentation for production.
• Manage inventory and cycle counting across multiple shifts with accountability for accuracy.
• Lead lean improvements, PFEP planning, and kanban-based replenishment.
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers to resolve production quality issues.
• Act as SAP Super user and drive continuous improvements in material handling.
