Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Manager, Materials to optimize material flow from receiving through line-side presentation for production, ensuring timely and efficient movement of materials across warehouses and lines.

The role emphasizes Lean principles, PFEP usage, and continuous improvement leadership. You will lead day-to-day material handling operations, mentor teams, and collaborate with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues, while leveraging SAP to drive accurate

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or equivalent experience.
5 years of progressive Operations management experience in similar work environment.
Demonstrated understanding and application of lean manufacturing principles.
Experience using SAP or an ERP system.
Strong communication, data analysis and collaboration skills.
Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and Lean projects.

Responsibilities

Oversee material flow from receiving to line-side presentation for production.
Manage warehousing operations across multiple shifts (staging, receiving, storage, shipping).
Lead continuous improvement events and lean pull-based systems.
Mentor project teams and coordinate cross-site collaboration.
Act as SAP Super user for materials function and reporting.
Collaborate with suppliers and customers to resolve manufacturing quality issues.
