Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Materials Subject Matter Expert I to drive standard work and continuous improvement across planning, purchasing, and inventory control. You will act as the technical authority on materials processes and mentor the materials team to achieve best-in-class service, profitability, and differentiated capabilities.

The role requires leading site projects, coordinating with regional and global teams, and delivering training while maintaining data integrity and compliance with health

Qualifications

• Understanding Materials standard, procedures, systems and work methodologies.
• Broad range of materials relevant systems and technology.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety standards and Jabil's health policies.
• Experience with change management and continuous improvement programs.
• Proficiency in English, strong communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead as Site Subject Matter Expert in materials planning, purchasing and inventory control processes.
• Lead as Site SME in materials systems and applications.
• Coach and train the materials team and drive learning.
• Monitor key materials metrics for assigned customers and sites.
• Drive standardization, simplification, and optimization with continuous improvement cycles.
• Manage project scope, budget, time, and quality; define KPI and test plans.
• Coordinate validation activities and ensure data integrity for process improvements.
• Forecast budgets and staffing needs; communicate progress to stakeholders.
