Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Materials Flow Engineer to provide expert-level material handling solutions across multiple Jabil sites within a designated region. The role focuses on optimizing material flow, storage, and handling processes to boost efficiency and reduce costs.

You will lead projects from concept through implementation, develop ROI business cases, and collaborate with operations, engineering, supply chain, and IT to ensure alignment with goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Material Handling Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) highly desirable.
• 4–6 years of progressive material handling engineering experience; 1–3 years in lead/regional role.
• Strong analytical, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of material handling systems across sites.
• Analyze operations to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for standardization and automation.
• Develop ROI analyses and business cases for capital expenditures.
• Manage projects from concept to on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, supply chain, and IT to ensure integration.
• Establish KPIs and drive standardization and continuous improvement.
