Job summary

Jabil is seeking a materials procurement professional to support production and prototype builds by securing components and optimizing the supply chain. You will focus on achieving best pricing, lead times, and timely delivery while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Responsibilities include managing MRP-driven materials flow, tracking performance, and collaborating with commodity managers to reduce liabilities and ensure data accuracy across purchasing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; 2–4 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MRP and materials planning concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Procure components to support production and prototypes.
• Negotiate pricing and lead times; manage supplier terms.
• Track and optimize materials availability to meet MPS and production needs.
• Maintain master data and procurement parameters to balance cost and inventory.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements in delivery and quality.
• Support Accounts Payable with invoice discrepancies and data validation.
