Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Material Flow Engineer to optimize material handling, storage, and movement across multiple sites. You will lead design, evaluation, and deployment of systems that improve efficiency and reduce costs.

You will develop ROI cases, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure projects meet budget, schedule, and quality standards while staying current with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Material Handling Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) highly desirable.
• 4-6 years of progressive material handling engineering experience.
• Leadership or regional exposure in manufacturing or logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of material handling systems across multiple sites.
• Analyze current material handling operations to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for standardization and automation.
• Develop business cases for capital expenditures, including ROI analysis.
• Plan scopes, budgets, and timelines and manage projects to budget.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, supply chain, and IT for seamless integration of solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and training on material handling principles.
