Jabil is seeking a Senior Material Flow Engineer to optimize material movement, storage, and presentation across manufacturing and logistics operations. This role aims to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support lean initiatives through process analyses and design of improved flow systems.

The position requires approximately 75% travel within the United States to support site assessments, project implementation, and standardization efforts across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years in material flow engineering, industrial engineering, or supply chain optimization in manufacturing.
• Lean Manufacturing principles experience (Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, Pull Systems).
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD) for layouts and flow design.
• Experience with simulation tools (FlexSim, Arena) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing material flow processes, layouts, and equipment to identify bottlenecks and waste.
• Design optimized material flow strategies including line-side delivery and sequencing solutions.
• Use simulation tools and lean methods to model and validate improvements.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT to implement new systems.
• Lead material flow assessments and improvement projects at multiple sites in the U.S.
