Southern States Material Handling is a leading provider of Toyota and Raymond material handling solutions. We are seeking a Service Advisor to grow new business, manage existing accounts, and promote preventative maintenance agreements.

The role emphasizes building relationships, presenting tailored solutions, and driving maintenance opportunities within a Valdosta or Albany GA territory. You will collaborate with the analytics team, deliver compelling proposals, and strive for high customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years sales experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and presentations.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to multi-task.
• Ability to create persuasive presentations and drive customer decisions.
• Commitment to excellent customer service and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of industrial powered equipment a plus; valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Learn Toyota/Raymond processes and equipment lines.
• Identify business opportunities at customer locations and suggest products/services.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through in-person and virtual communications.
• Develop tailored client proposals addressing customer pain points.
• Present information to drive client decisions and improve equipment performance.
• Negotiate effectively and communicate goals during discussions.
• Develop strategies based on customer feedback and market context.
• Generate new service opportunities and manage contracts in territory.
• Collaborate with analytics to review current contracts and increase business.
• Deliver repair estimates and gain customer agreement.
• Support new equipment deliveries and identify maintenance opportunities.
• Assist customers in selecting parts and solutions; refer leads to Parts Department.
