Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a Material Hander-Picker to pull customer orders at the loading dock, stage and load items, and support unloading as needed. The role requires attention to detail, safe operation of equipment, and basic math for units of measure.

Qualifications include 6 months to 1 year of related experience, ability to read English, and forklift/cherry picker experience. SBP offers full-time benefits and a strong team culture across North America.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand English.
• Six months to one year related experience preferred.
• Forklift/Cherry Picker Experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Manually pick and stage correct warehouse items at the loading dock location.
• Use of hand-held scanner to locate items and move to the correct dock door.
• Move damaged or non-conforming items to reclaim or RTV area.
• Operate a forklift and order picker as required.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping on loading dock and warehouse aisles.
• Assist in unloading or loading trucks when necessary.
