Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a Material Handler to pick and stage customer orders at the loading dock from the warehouse. You will use a handheld scanner to locate items and move them to the correct dock door.

The role requires forklift/order picker experience and a focus on safety, accuracy, and housekeeping. Candidates should be able to read English and have 6 months to 1 year of related experience for consideration.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year related experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and understand English
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure

Responsibilities

• Pick and stage correct warehouse items at the loading dock.
• Use handheld scanner to locate items and move to dock doors.
• Move damaged items to reclaim or RTV area.
• Operate forklift and order picker as required.
• Maintain safe, clean loading dock and warehouse aisles.
• Meet quality standards for items pulled and loaded.
