Job summary

Specialty Building Products, including the Alexandria Moulding division, is hiring a Second Shift Material Handler. You will manually pick and stage items at the loading dock, use a handheld scanner to locate goods, and assist with forklift operations and loading/unloading tasks.

The role emphasizes safety, quality inspection, and maintaining organized docks, with potential involvement in unloading or loading trucks as needed to support team goals.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience or training beneficial.
• Use of hand-held scanner to locate items.
• Ability to load/unload items and operate order picker.

Responsibilities

• Manually pick and stage correct warehouse items at the loading dock.
• Use of hand-held scanner to locate items and move them to appropriate dock door.
• Move damaged or non-conforming items to reclaim or RTV area.
• Operate forklift and order picker as required.
• Follow safety standards and maintain clean, organized loading dock and warehouse aisles.
• Ensure quality by inspecting items as pulled/loaded and meet team efficiency goals.
• Assist in unloading/loading trucks as needed.
