Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a hardworking team member to perform material handling in the work cell, loading and moving products and ensuring on-time delivery of quality parts. You will follow SOPs, maintain safety and 5S standards, and participate in continuous improvement activities with the cell team.

The role requires basic computer skills, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to read and follow English instructions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6-12 months experience in manufacturing environment, Parker FCD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
• Opens containers, loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Loads materials into vehicles.
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
• Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
• Monitor cells for work flow, ensuring product is flowing through cells.
• Apply standard operating procedures to complete work assignments thoroughly and accurately; identify and correct errors and pay attention to details.
• Work with the cell team to meet or exceed production standards; complete work in a timely manner; plan and prioritize work.
• Follow safety and 5S guidelines; maintain a clean and organized work area and used good safety judgment.
• Understand ISO procedures and know where appropriate documentation is kept.
• Share input in team improvement board and High Performance Team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
