Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Production experience is helpful but not required.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Mental and visual acuity for producing quality products.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office package.

• Employee must pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate extrusion equipment and related machinery.
• Follow work instructions and process sheets to complete line set ups and material loading.
• Conduct quality checks using visual inspection, tape measure, calipers, and other gauges; document results.
• Complete necessary records and reports.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot minor problems; notify maintenance as needed.
• Prioritize tasks based on guidance from the Work Leader/Value Stream Team Leader.
• Follow safety protocols and 5S practices to reduce risk and improve safety.
• Coordinate with Material Handler/Warehouse when supplies are needed.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
