G&W Electric Co. is seeking a Material Handler II to move materials between cells and the central warehouse, verify part numbers, and perform inventory transactions in the G&W system. The role involves loading/unloading, using PIT equipment, and assisting with cycle counts.

Candidates should have 1–3 years in manufacturing, forklift certification, and the ability to read Bills of Materials. A valid driver's license and intermediate computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• 3–5 years PIT/Forklift experience preferred.
• Must have forklift certification.
• Able to read Bills of Material.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload, move and store materials; conduct bin maintenance as needed.
• Unload incoming materials; verify quantities and part numbers; report shortages or damage.
• Move materials between cells following routing and orders.
• Fill and deliver orders to designated cells from storage/stock.
• Operate hand trucks and powered lift trucks to move and stack pallets.
• Load outgoing trucks using hand trucks or lift trucks.
• Record inventory transactions in the G&W system; perform cycle counts.
