G&W Electric Co. is seeking a Material Handler I to support production by filling orders, moving materials between cells, verifying quantities and part numbers, and completing inventory transactions in the business system.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 0–1 year in manufacturing, ability to operate pallet jacks, and basic computer skills. Prior warehouse experience is a plus, with a safe, collaborative work environment and competitive hourly pay.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to safely use pallet jacks and other manual moving equipment.
• Must be able to read and interpret Bills of Material.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills needed.
• Ability to work effectively with others to support manufacturing processes.
• Ideally previous warehouse or manufacturing experience.

Mansioni

• Unload, move and store materials and perform Bin Maintenance as needed.
• Unload incoming materials, verify quantities and part numbers, report shortages or damaged materials, and move to storage areas.
• Move materials between cells following routing, delivery tickets or orders.
• Fill orders from storage areas and warehouse stock and deliver to designated cells.
• Operate hand truck to move materials and stack pallets.
• Release and maintain Kanban status and report late orders.
• Accurately perform inventory transactions in the G&W business system and conduct cycle counts as requested.
