Job summary

G&W Electric Co is seeking a Material Handler II for the 6:00am–6:00pm shift to move materials, perform inventory, and support production cells. You will operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment, while maintaining accuracy in the ERP system and ensuring a safe working environment.

The role requires forklift certification, a High School diploma or GED, and 1–3 years in manufacturing or warehouse settings. Join a team focused on quality and efficiency in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Experience reading Bills of Material and handling inventory.
• Intermediate computer skills for business systems.
• Must hold forklift certification and operate PIT equipment safely.
• Able to provide valid driver’s license when required.

Responsibilities

• Unload, move, and store materials and perform bin maintenance as needed.
• Move materials between cells and to designated storage or production areas.
• Fill orders from stock and deliver to designated cells or lines.
• Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, stackers and forklifts to move loads.
• Conduct inventory transactions and cycle counts in the ERP system.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and assist training of others as needed.
• Inspect work for quality and document actions in forms as required.
