O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an advanced distribution center operator to handle inbound/outbound processes and ensure inventory accuracy within the DC. Responsibilities include receiving, matching, and shipping merchandise, operating RF scanners and WMS, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes adhering to procedures, training teammates when needed, and supporting peak volume continuity while following vehicle loading and unloading protocols.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.
• Follows established operational, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain safe work environment, including lifting, moving, and handling merchandise.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems, RF technology, and operational processes.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction.
• Ability to support training and development of team members when assigned.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Match item numbers, quantities, manifests, freight bills, and shipping documentation with physical merchandise.
• Operate RF scanners, handheld devices, voice-picking systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and other warehouse technology as required.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper scanning, labeling, auditing, staging, and discrepancy resolution procedures.
• Follow hazardous material handling and disposal procedures in accordance with safety standards.
