Job summary

Hillman Group is seeking a Material Handler in Cincinnati, OH to move materials and finished products using powered equipment. Position requires standing for long periods, operating pallet jacks and forklifts, and lifting up to 70 lbs.

The role includes loading/unloading trucks and supporting workstation replenishment. Shifts Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, with a base pay of $18.50/hour plus a $1.50 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Material handling experience is strongly preferred.
• Able to operate pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel.
• Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.
• Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.

Job Summary

Supports Operations by moving materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility with a variety of powered industrial equipment.

Essential Job Functions *

• Operates a variety of powered, industrial equipment
• Loads and unloads trucks
• Ability to use a hand scanner
• Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock
• Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area
• Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner
• Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations
• Transfers finished products to designated areas
• Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas
• Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack
• Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manger

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Material Handler: Must be forklift operation certified. Standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.

Material Handler: Medium - Heavy, lifting up to 70 lbs.
