Johnstone Supply, a leading HVACR wholesale distributor in North America, is hiring a Material Handler I in Louisiana. You will receive, pick, pack, and ship products, operate forklifts and RF scanners, and ensure accuracy and compliance with safety procedures.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds while maintaining inventory integrity and productive workflow in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 0–1 year related experience or training.
• Forklift certification required or willingness to obtain on the job.
• Experience with a picker, RF scanner, and inventory management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, fill, and ship products accurately and efficiently.
• Operate power equipment safely to move products to storage locations.
• Inspect shipments, verify quantities, and complete required paperwork.
• Pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment; maintain stock accuracy.
• Participate in cycle counts and maintain safe work environment.
