Job summary

G&W Electric Co is seeking a Material Handler I to support a busy manufacturing facility. The role involves moving and storing materials, inspecting part numbers, and performing inventory transactions in the business system.

You will unload materials, handle racks, and ensure accurate counts while adhering to safety and process standards. Prior warehouse experience is helpful; training will be provided. Pay ranges reflect the 2:00pm–10:30pm shift and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 0–1 year in manufacturing is ideal.
• Must safely use pallet jacks and other manual moving equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret Bills of Material.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others to support manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Unload, move and store materials, conduct bin maintenance.
• Check identification for quantities and part numbers; report shortages or damaged material.
• Move materials between cells according to routing or orders.
• Fill orders and deliver to designated cells.
• Operate hand truck to move materials and stack pallets; load outgoing trucks.
• Release and maintain Kanbans; report late orders; perform inventory transactions in the system.
