G&W Electric Co. is seeking a Material Handler II to move materials within the Central Warehouse and between cells, ensuring accurate identification and part numbers. You will perform inventory transactions in the G&W system and support production flow through safe handling of materials.

Ideal candidates have forklift experience, 1–3 years in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and valid driver’s license. The role includes a pay range of $23.75–$25.00 per hour and full benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years in manufacturing preferred.
• 3-5 years PIT or forklift experience.
• Must have forklift certification.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload, move and store materials between cells and central warehouse.
• Check identification for quantities and part numbers.
• Perform inventory transactions in the G&W business system.
• Move materials between cells following routing or orders.
• Fill orders from storage and deliver to designated cells.
• Operate hand trucks and powered lift trucks to move pallets.
• Load outgoing trucks using hand trucks or lift trucks.
• Conserve resources and maintain safe, clean work area.
• Train others in material handler tasks as needed.
• Inspect all work before passing to next operation.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Move, unload and put-away material with PIT.
