Job summary

G&W Electric is seeking a Material Handler II to move materials between cells and the central warehouse, verify part numbers and quantities, and perform inventory transactions in the business system. The role supports manufacturing processes with PIT equipment and requires forklift certification and BOM reading.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, cycling counts, and maintaining a safe work environment in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Must have valid forklift certification and experience operating a sit-down and stand-up PIT.
• Able to read Bills of Material and follow routing and orders.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred; 3–5 years PIT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload, move and store materials and perform bin maintenance as needed.
• Check identification for quantities and part numbers; report shortages or damages.
• Move materials between cells, following routing and orders.
• Fill orders from stock and deliver to designated cells.
• Operate hand trucks and powered lift trucks; load outgoing trucks.
• Perform inventory transactions in the G&W business system and cycle counts.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and conserve resources.
• Provide training to others as needed.
