Job summary

FedEx is seeking to fill a full-time role in its operations group at the Granby location. The successful candidate will operate equipment safely to move packages and heavyweight freight, assist with pallets, and liaise with the ULD repair vendor when needed.

The position requires ability to lift 50 lbs, work in all weather, and maintain productivity in a noisy environment. A valid driver’s license is required and a drug screen will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used to move packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
