Job summary

FedEx is seeking personnel for an evening shift responsible for the safe and efficient operation of equipment used to move packages and heavyweight freight. You will assist with pallet buildup/breakdown and may liaise with ULD repair vendors as needed.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs from ground to chest level, stand and walk for extended periods, and operate in a noisy, open environment. A valid driver’s license and passing a drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Must pass a drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Non-covered safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
